Well… here it is. My very first blog post...

...and if I’m being completely honest, I’m far more comfortable behind a camera than behind a keyboard — so bear with me while I figure this blogging thing out!


I’ve wanted to create a proper boudoir photography blog for a while now, somewhere a little more personal, relaxed and real. A place where I can share inspiration, ideas, behind-the-scenes content and hopefully help more women feel confident enough to book a boudoir photoshoot without feeling nervous or intimidated.


So welcome to Studio Confidential — the official boudoir blog from my private photography studio in Bournemouth, Dorset.

A Real Private Boudoir Studio in Bournemouth

One thing I’ll probably talk about quite a bit here is how private and relaxed the experience is in my studio.

My boudoir photography studio in Bournemouth is completely appointment-only and designed to feel comfortable, calm and judgement-free. Most women who contact me are nervous at first — and honestly, that’s completely normal.

The funny thing is, almost every single client says the same thing:“I was worried for absolutely nothing.”

  • You do not need modelling experience.
  • You do not need to know how to pose.
  • You do not need “the perfect body.”


You just need the confidence to take the first step — and that’s usually the hardest part.

Why I Started Studio Confidential


Boudoir photography is about so much more than lingerie photos.  For some women it’s:  A confidence boost, A fresh start,  Birthday gift,  A wedding surprise, The bucket-list experience, or simply doing something completely for themselves for once, and honestly? I think that deserves more conversation.


So this little corner of the internet will become a mix of inspiration, confidence, creativity, photography and probably the occasional terrible attempt at blogging humour from me along the way.
